It's hard when you want something deeper than other people want, and you can't find anyone to do it with. Finding introvert friends for quieter activities is a challenge. They're out there though.
Do you have a place to throw a party? You could always try holding an introvert party, which is a success with 2-3 other people. Puzzles, games, quiet music, maybe a movie -- stuff to encourage people to interact and get to know each other. Doubt you could find it down there, but one of our favorite games is Imaginiff because it requires thinking about the other people in the group and what they are like.
I think introverts and other quiet folks would be more sociable if they had more opportunities for the kind of event they find enjoyable. I have a description of an introvert party here.
